Doug has been selling snowmobiles since 1972 with his dad at Leo's Sports. They began with SnoJet snowmobiles and eventually added Kawasaki and Arctic Cat. Although Kawasaki is no longer a part of the business, Arctic Cat still remains a strong seller. In addition to Arctic Cat snowmobiles, Arctic Cat ATVs are now a part of the lineup. As the business grew, they relocated to the north end of Fairmont. This new facility could better meet their business needs. Doug bought the business in June 2002, and he changed the name to Doug's Sports Center. Sherry (Doug's wife) joined Doug and together they have been co-owning and operating Doug's Sports Center. In August 2003, they added Yamaha snowmobiles, ATVs, motorcycles, off-road bikes, scooters and generators. Currently, they no longer sell Yamaha snowmobiles. In 2005, they added Exmark lawnmowers to their inventory. As the business continued to grow, they decided to expand. In the fall of 2007, this major overhaul was complete. To this day, Doug's Sports Center continues its long commitment of excellent sales and service to their customers.

Doug has been in sales for 28 years, first with his dad and then with his wife Sherry. Even though Doug continues to farm, he still finds the time to sell ATVs, motorcycles, lawnmowers, and more!

Prior to working at Doug's Sports Center, Jim owned and operated his own business. He began working for Doug in 2003. Along with him, he brought over 20 years of experience in sales and business management. Jim wears many hats here at Doug's Sports Center. In addition to being a sales representative, he is the parts manager. Jim is a valuable assest to Doug's Sports Center.

A Fairmont native, Jay began working for Doug's Sports Center in the spring of 2008. Although he was hired as the shop foreman, he eventually was added to the sales department. Jay has been a great addition to the sales team, because he introduced Doug to Jonsered Power Equipment, which we now sell.

Jay manages the shop and schedules repair and maintenance jobs. He is a certified ATV CatMaster technician. In addition to the shop foreman, Jay is also a sales representative.

Chad began working part-time for Doug's Sports Center in November 2008. He is currently enrolled in a Motorcycle and Small Engine Technology program in Estherville, and he will soon graduate. Chad now is a certified snowmobile CatMaster technician!

Bart began working for Doug's Sports Center in January 2009. He is a great addition to our service department because of his emphasis in motorcycles. He attended school for motorcycle mechanics, and his specialty is Harley Davidson motorcycles.

As the office manager, Sherry has many important responsibilities such as financing, license and registration, warranty registration, advertising and co-op claims, keeping the guys in line, and so much more.

Kristin began working for Doug's Sports Center in January of 2008 as the office secretary. One of her specialties is organizing. She also oversees the helmet and apparel inventory and displays, maintains the website, and much more.

Angela is Doug and Sherry's youngest of three children. Although she used to work at Doug's Sports Center part-time, she occasionally helps out in the office...especially when mom and dad are on vacation.
